FSW Express Entry (2015) Application Expenses
For those of you wondering how much does it costs to migrate to Canada through FSW Express Entry (2015) program from the Philippines (a bit from Singapore), please see the breakdown below:
Yes, it’s not so cheap but we’re hoping that this investment is worth it for our family’s future. Hope you’ll find this helpful in your own journey. Do let me know if you have questions (use the comments section), I’ll try to answer everything to the best of my ability.
hi, i just have some questions since you also work here and singapore. I just got my singapore certificate of clearance as part of the police certificate requirement and suppose to upload it into mycic account.. but they are prompting to input such data as document name, issuance date and expiry date.. I was wondering what to put as the expiry date since it wasnt indicated in the certificate.. Please help me… Been searching everywhere for answers but cannot find any.. Thanks..
Hi. I have lodged my application before moving to Singapore, so I do not need to submit a police clearance from SG. For police clearances, what’s important is the issue date. If I remember it correctly, the certificate coming from the country where you currently live should not be issued more than six months from the current date (note though that you’ll be needing police certificates from each country where you have lived for more than six months). I believe expiry date is not an issue since what they validate is the issue date against your application date. Now if expiry date is a required field, just add six months on the issue date but do not forget to explain it in the letter of explanation (You can explain every non conformance etc here). If the expiry date is not required then you’re good.
Thanks for the info. I have just submitted and added 6mos from issue date for the expiry date. Fingers crossed, hope they accept it. Did they schedule you for interview after passing all the required docs and did they do a background check on you as well?
Hi. There was no interview nor background check. They usually conduct background check for inland applicants only and rarely for candidates outside Canada unless your documents are questionable. Good luck and God bless on your application.
