If you want to finish a whole season of a Netflix show or any videos uploaded online in half, or even quarter of the time, I have a great hack for you.

Given the gift of time, we have more time to spend doing things that we don’t usually do, and that includes watching a few more shows on the internet.

If you want to watch your shows in 2x speed, Youtube by default already has this feature but what about other videos not on Youtube? Here’s a hack I use to go through a lot of video content in half to even a quarter of the time it usually takes.

This hack only works on a browser specifically Chrome and here are the steps:

  1. Search video speed controller plugin for chrome and install it, you should see this
  2. Launch any video from your browser (ie Netflix)
  3. Click the Video Speed Controller icon and you can increase or decrease the speed by .25

Speeding up the speed of the video doesn’t work for everyone but if you do want to gobble up video contents, then this is a good way to do it.
